Combined with the production data of sintered Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet, bonded Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet and samarium cobalt permanent magnet in 2019 published by the Ministry of industry and information technology, and the production data of permanent ferrite and soft ferrite in 2019 published by the magnetic materials and devices branch of China electronic components industry association, the product structure of magnetic materials in 2019 can be obtained. Among them, permanent ferrite accounts for the largest proportion (528100 tons), followed by soft ferrite (260000 tons).
The magnetic material production enterprises are mainly distributed in China, Japan and South Korea. The output of various categories of magnetic materials in China ranks first in the world. It has established the status of a large magnetic material production country and a magnetic material industry centre in the world.
